βWe had eggs Benedict and strawberry pancakes early morning. Food was good and the service was quick. However, I wish they had used fresh strawberries instead of canned ones.

This was a great experience with delicious filling food. I had the Salmon avocado toast and it was great. The presentation was mouthwatering with plenty of smoked salmon, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber and capers on top of multigrain toasted bread. I appreciated the thick slices of cucumber and steak knife so I could cut to my personal preference. My spouse has the 2 egg platter which pleasantly filled him compared to chain restaurants. The kids had a short stack of huge chocolate chip pancakes. They were so good they started protesting the quantity of the parent tax. The environment was chill with takeout, indoor seating or outdoor seating. We sat inside and listened to a variety of music. The staff was the best part. They ensured we had plenty of coffee, the kids got the best chocolate milk when it was delivered and their smiles were contagious. Weβre definitely going back when in town again.

The BEST breakfast I've had in the area. Every year, I come to Lancaster to visit family for two weeks around the holidays. I randomly found this spot while looking for breakfast and WOW. It's a hidden gem and the breakfast is incredible. The stuffed french toast is OUT OF THIS WORLD! The best I've ever had. Eggs are farm fresh, food is high quality, coffee is always fresh and the staff are very attentive.

I ordered the Apple Caramel Crumb Waffle. My daughter had the Peaches and Cream French Toast. The presentation of the food was stunning and it was so delicious. So sweet we both skipped syrup. 10/10!!

The omelets are outstanding! I have tried them all and love them all. The iced tea is the best in town. They have the best and fastest service I have experienced. I can't think of anything that could be improved. ------------------------------ We went there again today, June 26, 2026, and I wrote the following review: "Ida's Cafe is inviting. The decorations and color scheme are appealing and the tables and chairs are comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful, and on top of things like service and refills. My favorite there is the food. I don't know of a better omelet anywhere. They are all so good that it is sometimes hard to choose. The grand kids ask to go there for the pancakes. For lunch I like to get the portobello veggie melt or the patty melt. But I could just close my eyes and point and I know that whatever I picked would be excellent.
